Bach Cello Suite No. 1 The Fairies of the Evening OOAK by Artworksstudio.
I love the Bach Cello Suite No. 1. When I listen to it I can see this secret pool of water where the night fairies come out to bathe and play and relax among the water lilies.
When I came across this 3/4 cello I knew this painting had to come to life. I have replaced the strings of the cello with gold colored beadalon and there are vintage Swarkovski crystals like drops of water gently gliding down the strings.

artworksstudio- a one woman art studio where coloring outside the lines is encouraged is located in the "wilds" of Western Iowa. I've always been different- from as far back as I can remember. I tried to conform- really I did -but it didn't work. Then I tried going crazy and that was not at all what it is cracked up to be. So now I am an artist. Having been raised a middle child of a very large family I learned that hand-me-downs were just a way of life. Now we call it re-cycling. I discovered the thrift store in my teens and I've been a regular ever since. I love taking something old and remaking it into something new. I majored in fibers in college with an emphasis on weaving. I love to work with wool, mohair and angora. Right now I am really into felted wool and spend most evenings with my sewing machine.I also create beaded jewelry,collages with paper and other stuff and I sell vintage jewelry.
